The Arab Media Summit 2026 will host a group of prominent thinkers and writers to sign their latest books, which have attracted widespread interest in Arab and international cultural and intellectual circles, as part of an accompanying cultural programme organised by the Dubai Press Club from 15 to 17 September at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The summit is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
An interactive cultural programme welcoming 10,000 participants
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, said hosting this group of writers and thinkers reflects the club’s vision of reinforcing the summit’s cultural dimension and creating an interactive platform enabling thousands of participants to meet directly with the authors of new books and learn about their intellectual and creative experiences.
Al Mulla said honouring thinkers and authors is an annual tradition that keeps pace with the summit’s development and enriches its discussions, which bring together media leaders and experts from the region and around the world.
She added that the book-signing sessions provide a valuable opportunity to broaden the discussion on media, culture and identity, strengthen the summit’s role as a space for ideas to meet and experiences to be exchanged, and highlight the value of Arab intellectual output amid the rapid changes in the media sector.

Organising committee expands direct engagement spaces
Ruqayya Al Jabri, a member of the organising committee of the Arab Media Summit 2026, said the committee had sought to offer an integrated experience this year, extending from the main sessions and discussions to a range of interactive spaces and events that give participants greater opportunities to engage directly with writers, journalists and thought leaders and enable closer, more interactive discussions.
Al Jabri noted that the book-signing sessions will be held alongside spaces such as “Media Chats” and other events accompanying the summit.
