Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz received UAE Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The two sides review relations and regional developments

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as developments in the region, according to the Saudi Press Agency. Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who had invited Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed to visit the Kingdom on 29 September, attended the meeting.

The Emirates News Agency announced on Monday, 28 September, that Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed would travel to Saudi Arabia the following day for what it described as a fraternal visit, in response to an invitation from the Saudi Defence Minister.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed serves as UAE Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, while Prince Mohammed bin Salman holds the positions of Crown Prince and Prime Minister in Saudi Arabia.
