The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they had carried out eight strikes which, they said, hit Houthi reinforcements, weapons and military equipment at several sites inside Yemen. The announcement came in a statement issued by the forces’ official spokesman, Colonel Staff Majed al-Nazili, on Wednesday, who said the operations were carried out after monitoring and tracking the group’s movements.
The military targets included in the operations
Al-Nazili said the targets included three artillery batteries on the Al-Wazi’iyah front, along with a mobile air-defence system in Mokha that the forces had previously announced. He added that, according to the statement, the system had been developed by experts from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The military spokesman said the operations also included what he described as the neutralisation of Houthi leaders and members in Al-Mansoura and the Bab al-Mandab area.
The statement did not provide a numerical toll for the targeted leaders and members, or separate details on the timing of each operation.
Al-Nazili said the eight strikes came as part of what he called “continuous monitoring and tracking of the movements of the terrorist Houthi militias”, linking their execution to the forces’ monitoring of the group’s movements, reinforcements and military equipment in the areas mentioned in the statement.
