Payment starts at 10% as Finance Ministry offers land and properties in Kafr El Sheikh, Cairo and 6 October at public auction

The Ministry of Finance’s Authority for the Management and Disposal of Recovered and Confiscated Funds has announced a public auction to sell a number of ministry-owned plots of land, properties and other assets.

The Ministry of Finance’s Authority for the Management and Disposal of Recovered and Confiscated Funds will hold a public auction on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, to sell land and properties in several governorates, with payment terms starting at 10% of the winning bid and the remaining amount payable according to the specified conditions.

The auction will be held under Law No. 182 of 2018 and its executive regulations. It includes real estate assets in Kafr El Sheikh, Asyut, Luxor, Cairo, Obour, 6 October City and Al-Gold Island.

Land in Kafr El Sheikh, Asyut and Luxor

The auction includes a plot of land in Kafr El Sheikh measuring 32,395 square metres, with direct frontage on Al-Gomhoria Street, as well as plots in the Beni Ghaleb area of Asyut Governorate measuring up to about 20,300 square metres.

The offering also includes two plots of land in the Manshiyet Al-Amary area of Luxor Governorate, with a combined area of 6,447.95 square metres.

Properties in New Cairo, Obour and Helwan

The assets on offer include the entire land, buildings and garden of a property in Fifth Settlement, covering 1,391 square metres, with two façades on an internal street and another on Al-Shuweifat Street. The offering also includes the entire land and buildings of a villa in the Fifth District of Obour City.

The auction list also includes the entire land and buildings of a property in Helwan covering 31,558 square metres, behind the Serum and Vaccine Farm.

7 villas and other assets in 6 October and Al-Gold Island

The authority is also offering 7 villas in the Garden City compound in the northern expansions of 6 October City, as well as a property comprising the entire land and buildings in the city’s First Tourist Area, in addition to a plot of land and the structures on it on Al-Gold Island.

The terms and specifications booklet sets out the security deposit, participation rules, payment procedures and winning-bid requirements. It can be obtained from certified valuer Mostafa Sayed El-Habshy’s company.
